EKOTEX was established in 2001 on the basis of many years experience in the production and processing of flax fibres of its Manager – Marek Radwanski. From the very beginning, the company’s mission was to operate in a way that is environmentally friendly, that is “no-waste production” – fully processing all material being supplied. EKOTEX employs 11 persons and has a yearly production capacity of 1000 t flax fibres.

We run our production on reliable machines as well as on the basis of a few own innovative technological solutions. Our production includes:

• Many types of cottonine (refined flax fibre),
• Precise cut fibres - flax and hemp,
• Biomass briquettes for heating,

We have found application for many kinds of fibres and in-production waste which, so far, have been treated by many producers as useless. High quality of our products and reliable service have assured us a stable position on the market of fiber used for nonwooven products in car and furniture industries. Our customers include also producers of blended yarn.

The company places special emphasis on the Research and Development Department which works on new applications for flax and hemp fiber. What is also developing dynamically is recycling of fiber waste. Apart from our production activity, we take active participation in the organization of economic situation of both our region and also Polish textiles industry. We were one of the initiators of founding the Polish Chamber of Flax and Hemp in year 2002 and our Manager – Mr. Marek Radwanski has been its Chairman ever since its foundation – www.pilik.pl
