GAIKER Technological Centre, member of IK4 Research Alliance, is devoted to the gathering of own knowledge and to the development of new technologies to be later transferred to customers coming from sectors such as the Automotive/ Transportation, Household Electrical Appliances, Construction, Administrations or Engineering/ Consulting, among others.

From 1985, the Centre has carried out more than 900 R+D Projects related to its Knowledge Areas: Plastics and Composites, Sustainability & Environment, Recycling & Recovery and Biotechnology. Besides its activity in R+D, GAIKER offers to its customers Advisory and Technical Assistance Services, Certified Analysis and Tests and Official Recognition of Products, as well as an advanced Training and Dissemination Service.

In particular, in the Area of Plastics & Composites, the Centre works throughout all the product’s stages. GAIKER works with Plastic Composites, studies their features and properties, and deals with the Design, Calculation and Selection of Materials. The Centre also selects the most suitable Transformation Process and develops Prototypes and studies the Reuse of Waste Materials, as well as the Recycling of Plastic Materials.
