JEC_logo"BIOCOMP hosted a Biocomposites forum at the JEC show in Paris on 3rd April 2007. Presentations were given by 4 BIOCOMP partners - Mr. Helmut Nagele from TECNARO GmbH, Mr. Bo Madsen from RISO NATIONAL LABORATORY (Denmark),  Mr. Roberts Joffe, Division of Polymer Engineering at LULEA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (Sweden) and Mr. Hans Hoydonckx from TRANSFURANS CHEMICALS Bvba (Belgium). Presentations were also give by 2 non-BIOCOMP speakers - Mr. Günter Wuzella, Project Manager at KOMPETENZZENTRUM HOLZ GmbH (Germany) and Mr. Stéphane Laurent - WPC Manager at RETTENMAIER France (France). The forum was moderated by Dr. Rod Martin, Chief Executive Officer - MERL Ltd (United Kingdom). For more information, see the Events section below.

 BIOCOMP was presented at the "Environment Week", June 5-6, 2007, in the garden of the official residence of  the Federal President in Berlin, Germany.

The BIOCOMP library of information includes abstracts of published literature from journals, conference papers, reports and books relevant for the BIOCOMP subject area from 1972 onwards. The library is updated every 2 weeks with new publications and contains over 13,000 records. After registration, access to the BIOCOMP Library of Information is free of charge.
